European Union Mission: The coming weeks will be crucial for Libya.

The head of the European Union’s mission to Libya, José Sabadell, said Friday that the European Union stands with the Libyans in their quest to achieve peace, stressing that the coming weeks will be crucial for Libya.

“Sabadell” – in a tweet on his account on Twitter – stated that strengthening the ceasefire and economic recovery, and preparing for elections in Libya are among the main priorities of the European Union and its member states.

It is worth noting that the Acting Head of the United Nations Mission to Libya, Stephanie Williams, announced earlier that December 24, 2021 will be set as the date for elections.
