Morocco invites the committee of Parliament and the Supreme Council (13 + 13) … amid fears of obstructing the settlement path sponsored by the UN mission.

An informed source confirmed to Arraed, on Friday, that the Moroccan diplomacy has invited members of the two committees of Parliament and the Supreme Council of State 13 + 13 to visit it next week.

The meeting coincides with the holding of the second round of the Libyan Dialogue Forum, which is sponsored by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya.

This call comes in light of the continuation of the dialogue sessions sponsored by the UN mission and the approaching vote on the nomination and selection mechanism for the unified executive authority.

The Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Williams, announced last week that the mission had informed the members participating in the Libyan political dialogue that it would provide a practical solution that would ensure transparency and confidentiality, in order to finalize the discussions on the nomination and selection mechanism for the executive authority.
