The head of the National Center for Disease Control, Badr El-Din Al-Najjar, said that the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus in the country is extremely worsening, and that the number of infected cases is increasing on a daily basis.
Al-Najjar added, in televised statements, that the cities of Tripoli, Misurata and Zliten are witnessing a social spread of the virus, which has caused hundreds of cases to be recorded.
Al-Najjar revealed that the lockdowns and bans no longer accepted by citizens, explaining that they will resort to general lockdown if the situation continues to worsen in this way.
It is worth noting that the total number of Corona virus infections in Libya amounted to 79,797, including 27,758 active cases, 50,914 cases of recovery, while 1125 people died.
