The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced, on Wednesday, the continuation of training for the Libyan army, according to the cooperation, training and military consultations agreement signed between the two countries.
The ministry said – in a tweet, that the aim of the training support provided to the Libyan army is to raise its forces to international standards.
It is worth noting that the reconciliation government signed, on November 27 last year, two memorandums of understanding with Turkey in security and military cooperation, and defining areas of maritime jurisdiction.
