European press sources said, Wednesday, that the European Union defense ministers will discuss, during their virtual meeting, next Friday, ways to contribute to securing the stability and durability of the ceasefire in Libya.
These sources confirmed, to the Italian news agency AKI, that the European Union countries are still on standby, to establish a mechanism to install a ceasefire in Libya in cooperation with the United Nations.
It is worth noting that the head of the European Union’s mission to Libya, José Sabadell, confirmed during his meeting, Tuesday, with President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, in Tripoli, the European Union’s support for the implementation of the upcoming elections in Libya.
