Al-Mechichi: It is not possible to re-close the crossings between Tunisia and Libya due to the nature of the relations between them.

Tunisian Prime Minister Hicham El Mechichi said on Saturday that it is not possible to close the Ras Ajdir crossing again. Given the nature of the historical, humanitarian and economic relationship between Tunisia and Libya.

In a press statement after his visit to the Ras Ajdir border crossing with Libya, Al-Mechichi considered that the Tunisian government worked on the necessity to open the crossing at the level of commercial traffic, stressing that all necessary health measures were taken before the two border crossings, Ras Ajdir and Wazen, were opened.
