The Joint Military Committee agreed to gather mercenaries at specific points in preparation for their departure from the country.

Members of the Joint Military Committee 5 + 5, Thursday, during their meeting in Sirte, reached an agreement to remove foreign mercenaries, and to assemble them at specific points, in preparation for leaving the Libyan lands.

A statement by the deputy head of the UN mission to Libya, Saleem Raad, added that the two delegations agreed to open the coastal road, to provide everything necessary to protect citizens during their movement through it, and for the competent committees to undertake that task.

Raad explained that the Joint Military Committee decided to meet again as soon as possible.

It is worth noting that the sixth round of the Joint Military Committee meetings began two days ago in Sirte, where the headquarters of the committee is located.
