The Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar, confirmed Saturday that the Turkish army will continue to support training and advisory services for the Libyan forces, based on the agreement signed between the two countries.
Akar said during his meeting with Defense Minister Salah Addin Al-Namroush that his country seeks to contribute to establishing security and stability in Libya, and preserving its political and geographical unity.
Akar discussed with Al-Namroush the latest developments in Libya.
It is worth noting that the reconciliation government signed on November 27 last year two memoranda of understanding with Turkey in security and military cooperation and defining areas of maritime jurisdiction.
