Tunisian President Qais Saaid said Monday that the solution to the Libyan crisis must be peaceful and without the interference from outside forces.
Saaid added – during his opening speech at the start of the Libyan Dialogue Forum in Tunisia – that the solution is the restoration of the Libyan people of their sovereignty, and not with guns or the roar of bullets, describing the dialogue as historical by all standards and is part of the efforts that were made months ago.
Saaid clarified that this dialogue is neither a competition nor a duel. Because the aim is a peaceful solution, setting clear procedures and specific dates for reaching a solution, indicating that the Libyan people are able to overcome all difficulties and overcome all obstacles.
The sessions of the Libyan Dialogue Forum under the auspices of the United Nations were launched today in Tunis with the aim of reaching a solution to the Libyan crisis.
