Al-Sunni and “Bozkır” discuss a number of topics related to the United Nations General Assembly.

The representative of Libya to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, discussed with the President of the General Assembly for the 75th session, Volkan Bozkir, a number of issues related to the functioning of the committees and competent councils of the General Assembly.

During their meeting Thursday at the United Nations headquarters in New York, Al-Sunni and Bozkir reviewed his agenda and priorities, in Al-Sunni capacity as vice president of the general assembly which he looks forward to implementing during this session, the most important of which is combating the Covid-19 pandemic.

Al-Sunni followed with Bozkir to achieve the goals of sustainable development 2030, discuss the file of United Nations reforms, and the latest developments in the current situation in Libya.

It is worth noting that the current session of the United Nations General Assembly, in which Libya holds the position of Vice President, began its work in mid-September.
