Hawaili: The participants in the Forum for Political Dialogue have a large degree of consensus and are optimistic about it.

Member of the Supreme Council of State, Abdulqadir Hawaili, expressed his optimism for the future of the political dialogue, pointing out that all the disagreements that occurred about the list of participants will not affect the course of the forum.

Hawaili added, in statements to the Asharq Al-Awsat newspaper, on Saturday, that the representatives of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of the country have a great degree of agreement regarding the proposed solution mechanisms for the paths of the Libyan crisis.

Hawaili pointed to the similarity of the current situation to the atmosphere that preceded the Abo Zniqa meeting in Morocco, which was subjected to many criticisms and accusations, and despite that the negotiation and understanding on the division of the sovereign positions were completed, as he put it.

Hawaili referred to the possibility of holding preparatory meetings in several countries, including Morocco, and also inside Libya, among the participants in the Tunis meeting during the period preceding the launch of the Libyan Dialogue Forum in Tunisia. In order to facilitate the approval of the outputs and not waste time.

It is worth noting that the UN mission in Libya announced, on Saturday, that the “5 + 5” joint military committee will hold its fifth round in the city of Ghadames from the 2nd to the 4th of November.
