On Wednesday, the corporation for Organizing Sudanese Affairs Abroad revealed that 2,753 Sudanese citizens had returned from Libya during the last period within the framework of the joint initiative for voluntary return.

The agency said that the return was carried out in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration, in an initiative aimed at facilitating and reintegrating the returnees economically and socially into their original communities, in addition to building capacities and competencies at the level of the countries participating in the initiative.

It is worth noting that the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, last September, the evacuation of about 110 Sudanese citizens from Libya.
