United Nations: The first dialogue meetings were successful, and everyone should judge the results, not how we got them.

A spokesman for the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, “Jan Al-Alam,” described the first meeting of the Libyan political dialogue through the visual communication system as a successful experience, being the first of its kind for such meetings, stressing that the direct meetings start on the 9th of November in Tunisia.

“Al-Alam” added in statements to Arabi 21, Monday, that the meeting was a preliminary meeting, during which the members of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum got acquainted with the recent achievements in the military, economic, human rights and international humanitarian law tracks.

Al-Alam expressed his hope that the forum would define the necessary procedures for holding the elections in the shortest possible time, wishing everyone to give a chance to this process and judge on the results and not on the method, stressing that the mission is keen to ensure that the participants in the dialogue are representatives for all spectrums of Libyan society
