The National Oil Corporation announced, on Monday, the lifting of the force majeure of the “El Feel” oil field, and the end of the closures in all oil fields and ports.
The Corporation confirmed – in a statement on its official page – that instructions was given to the operator Mellitah Company to start production from the “El Feel” oil field, and to gradually return Mellitah crude to its normal levels in the coming days.
In the same context, the head of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah, urged the importance of controlling the media discourse related to production, pointing out that the only source for announcing the quantities of production is the corporation, in line with the arrangements in place in the Joint Ministerial Committee for Monitoring Oil Production in the “OPEC” and “OPEC Plus” “.
It is worth noting that the National Oil Corporation announced last Friday the lifting of the status of force majeure at the ports of Sidra and Ras Lanuf.
