The Running Council of Tarhuna municipality announced the holding of funeral prayers on the body of citizen “Abdullah Al-Jalasi”, on Thursday, which is the first missing person whose body has been identified from the victims of mass graves, left by Haftar’s militia in the city.
The council added, in a statement, on Wednesday, that the slain was kidnapped by “Alkani militia” while they were controlling the city, and his identity was recently known.
For its part, the Tarhuna Victims Association called on all the people of the city to go out in a mass demonstration, demanding the extradition of the killers and punishing them for all the heinous crimes they committed against Tarhuna and its people.
It is worth noting that the Public Authority for Search and Identification of Missing Persons announced, on Wednesday, that it has completed the withdrawal of more than 200 samples from corpses and remains from mass graves to be compared with the families of the missing.
