Williams: The participants in the “Berlin” conference called for an inclusive political process and the complete and unconditional lifting of the oil blockade.

The Acting Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Libya, Stephanie Williams, said that the participants in the ministerial meeting in Berlin on Libya called for the launch of a comprehensive political process, the continuation of the truce, and the complete and unconditional lifting of the oil blockade.

And “Williams” stressed in a press conference held, Monday, that the political process represents all Libyan political and social components and work within the framework of the Berlin process, according to the Turkish “Anatolia” agency.

Williams confirmed that the participants in the Berlin meeting welcomed the ceasefire and truce, while urging the Libyans to quickly implement a demilitarized zone in and around Sirte, and to agree on a permanent ceasefire.

It is worth noting that the Acting United Nations Representative in Libya Stephanie Williams said, last Sunday, that the international community can play an important role in supporting the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum and ensuring its success by urging the Libyan parties to participate constructively and confront those who obstruct the political track by imposing sanctions on them.
