French President “Emmanuel Macron” said that Islam today is experiencing a crisis everywhere in the world, and France must confront Islamic isolationism that seeks to establish a parallel system and disapprove the French Republic.
Macron added in a speech, Friday, that there are external influences in France for groups such as Wahhabism, Salafism and the Muslim Brotherhood, and that the French authorities have let them develop and spread on French soil and establish political projects with foreign funding.
Macron said that what he described as radical Islamism was determined to replace a systematic structure to circumvent the laws of the French Republic, establish a parallel system based on different values, and develop a different arrangement for society.
It is worth noting that French President Emmanuel Macron submitted a report last February on putting an end to bringing imams from abroad, and imposing stricter financial control on mosques subject to “external interference.”
