The Democratic Party candidate for the US elections, “Joe Biden,” pledged to reassess relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia, blaming Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman for the murder of journalist Jamal Khashogji.

Biden stressed in a statement published on the Middle East Eye website, Friday, that the United States of America under the Biden administration will end American support for the Saudi war in Yemen, and will make sure that Washington does not ignore its values ​​to benefit from arms sales or oil purchases.

Biden called for justice for the murdered journalist Khashogji, pointing out that “Jamal’s death will not be in vain, and that his country is committed to democratic values ​​and human rights that have priority even with our closest security partners.”

It is worth noting that on October 2, is the second anniversary of the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashogji by a Saudi team inside his country’s consulate in Istanbul.
