Turkish Energy Minister: Turkish companies are installing a power station in Tripoli.

Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmaz, said on Monday that some Turkish investors have agreements in Libya to install power stations run with natural gas.

Donmaz added that a 1,000-megawatt power plant in Tripoli is being installed by a Turkish company that is nearing completion, pointing to the importance of providing security for the production and transportation of natural gas needed to operate the station, otherwise it will be useless, according to the Turkish Anadolu news agency.

It is worth noting that Turkish energy companies arrived last August in the capital, Tripoli, and met with the General Electricity Administration Board to complete some projects in the field of electric energy.
