The High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy of the European Union, Josef Borrell, affirmed their determination to fully resume production and export of oil in Libya.
Borrell added in a press conference, Monday, that the European Union will mobilize all efforts to fully lift the blockade on oil production in Libya, which has cost the country more than 10 billion dollars since the beginning of the year.
Borrell noted that Libya lacks electricity and water services in major cities due to obstruction of oil production.
It is worth noting that the National Oil Corporation announced the partial lifting of the status of force majeure. On the safe oil fields and ports, in which the Russian Wagner mercenaries whom Haftar brought to fight with him are not present.
