Reinhart added that the recession resulting from the pandemic will last longer in some countries compared to others and will lead to an exacerbation of inequality, noting that the poor countries will be affected more, and for the first time within 20 years, global poverty rates will increase after the crisis, according to what was reported by Al Jazeera.
