Italy: We hope that the Libyan parties will support a comprehensive solution according to the Berlin outputs.

The Italian Foreign Ministry expressed its hope that all Libyan parties would support the dialogue process towards an agreed solution in the context of the Berlin process.

On Friday, the Italian Foreign Ministry welcomed the renewal of the mandate of the UN mission in Libya by UN Security Council Resolution No. “2542”, affirming its support for the relaunch of the internal Libyan political dialogue process, according to the Italian “AKI” agency.

The Italian Foreign Ministry said that all members of the international community must unite in good faith to support the political track and distance oneself from interfering in the internal affairs of Libya.

It is worth noting that the Italian Foreign Minister, “Luigi de Maio,” renewed last week – during a press conference – with his Spanish counterpart, “Gonzalez Laia”, that ending the conflict in Libya would only be with a diplomatic and political solution.
