Mouloud Chaouch Oglu : There is a Turkish-Russian rapprochement on the ceasefire in Libya.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said, Thursday, that there is rapprochement with Russia after our recent talks on Libya.

In a press statement, Cavusoglu added that Turkey and Russia share the same goal about the ceasefire and the political process in Libya.

Cavusoglu indicated that there are efforts by both sides of the conflict in Libya to implement a cease fire, and this is what Turkey wants.

It is worth noting that Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan agreed last July with Turkish President Vladimir Putin to continue seeking a ceasefire in Libya and the withdrawal of Haftar’s militias.

238 civilians and 44 children were killed by Haftar’s militias during the aggression on Tripoli.
