The National Oil Corporation revealed the presence of a military barge in the Ras Lanuf oil port, which entered last Saturday and has not left the port yet.
In the same context, a spokesman for the National Oil Corporation said Tuesday that the corporation calls for the immediate evacuation of its facilities from all military phenomena in order to preserve the security of employees and the safety of its infrastructure.
The Corporation stressed that they cannot tolerate any act that may put the lives of their employees in danger or expose the facilities to damage or destruction due to illegal military activity.
It is worth noting that the National Oil Corporation said last Friday that a group of militants affiliated with the Petroleum Facilities Guard, including foreign mercenaries, terrorized the crew of a ship in the port of Ras Lanuf by using live ammunition and RPGs in dangerous areas where highly flammable materials are present.
