Osman explained in a statement to Arraed, that Corona did not turn into a seasonal disease, but near the winter season and the start of the flu, the burden will be doubled, especially since the flu has symptoms similar to Corona and that the latter affects people with chronic diseases and does not affect the healthy, but the first affects the healthy.
Osman indicated that the organization will now present recommendations to the National Center for Disease Control, especially in the winter season, to conduct a special test for influenza for any case that tested Corona and its result was negative, and this process is what is known as respiratory disease monitoring.
Osman revealed that samples are not taken in large numbers due to the lack of laboratory capacity, so it is necessary to increase the specialized devices and people trained on the devices to increase the number of daily samples, indicating that the country is still in the first wave of the virus and there is no truth of the news of the second wave.
Osman stated that the organization has supported the laboratories of the National Center and the isolation center with 12,000 corona analyzes and “B
PCR” operators, and will supply personal protective materials such as masks for medical personnel and rapid response teams, noting that they have brought in 500 oxygen devices and will be distributed to isolation centers all over the country. .
