Bashagha: We warn against harming the lives of protesters, and we may use force to protect them.

On Thursday, Minister of Interior Fathi Bashagha warned armed groups that undermining the lives of demonstrators or exposing them to intimidation or withholding freedom in violation of the law, indicating that they may be forced to use force to protect them.

Bashagha clarified in a statement that the ministry monitored the armed groups and their subordinates and the official bodies responsible for them, that attacked the peaceful demonstrators and fired at them ,stressing that they are ready to protect defenseless civilians from the oppression of this “mob group” who do not represent the heroes of the Volcano of Anger operation and do not respect the blood and honor of the innocent. Of the peaceful demonstrators, according to the statement.

It is worth noting that Amnesty International said Wednesday that at least six Libyan protesters were kidnapped and others were wounded by live shooting in Tripoli last Sunday.
