Russian Foreign Ministry: Expected Russian-Turkish discussions on Libya will be held soon.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that negotiations with Turkey regarding Libya between Russia and Turkey will be held in Moscow between August and September.

In a press conference held on Thursday, Zakharova added that Russia is in constant contact with the parties concerned to resolve the Libyan crisis through political means, stressing that the outcomes of the Berlin Conference and UN Security Council Resolution 2510 should be the basis for collective action in Libya, according to the Turkish Anatolia News Agency.

It is worth noting that the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed earlier this month that a meeting will be held between Moscow and Ankara regarding the situation in Libya, which will discuss “the deployment of fighting forces in the city of Sirte at the time of the announcement of the truce.”
