Al-Jabri reveals that Saudi Arabia had given the green light to Russia to enter Syria.

A Russian website revealed, on Saturday, that the documents of the lawsuit filed by Saad Al-Jabri, a former advisor to the Saudi Interior Minister, against Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in America, revealed that Saudi Arabia approved the Russian military campaign in Syria long before its launch.

The Russian “News Re” website confirmed that one of the documents refers to holding at least two meetings between Al-Jabri and the former CIA director, John Brennan, during which the American side expressed its dissatisfaction with “Saudi Arabia’s encouragement of Russian intervention” in Syria.

The site indicated that shortly before his dismissal in September 2015, Saad Al-Jabri participated in two official meetings with “Brennan”, and after one of these two meetings, it was reported that the Saudi crown prince was angry at Jabri. Because he raised in his talks with “Brennan” the issue of Mohammed bin Salman’s contacts with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The site indicated that Al-Jabri’s work within the Saudi Ministry of Interior allowed him to establish close relations with representatives of foreign intelligence services, as well as access to important information about the ruling family, pointing out that excerpts from this document refer to Al-Jabri’s contacts with the Americans during the period in which he worked in the Ministry Saudi Interior.

It is worth noting that Al-Jazeera Net revealed, on Friday, that it had obtained the documents of the lawsuit filed by former Saudi intelligence officer Saad Al-Jabri in Washington against Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, accusing him of sending a team to assassinate him in America and Canada in pursuit of important recordings.
