Italian Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerrini said on Wednesday that the Italian side is fully prepared to immediately launch additional cooperation initiatives with the government of reconciliation in Libya.
Guerini added that his country is ready to work immediately on a new push to develop civil-military cooperation with Libya, according to Italian news agency “Nova”.
On Wednesday, the President of the Presidency Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, discussed in Tripoli with the Italian Minister of Defense “Lorenzo Guerini” the efforts of the return of Italian companies and the resumption of oil production under the supervision of the National Oil Corporation in Tripoli.
