Al-Shirtaa: The continuation of the oil closure will exacerbate the economic situation, and the GNA has the right to liberate the oil installations.

House of Representatives spokesman Ayman Al-Shirtaa said that continuing to shut down oil will worsen the economic situation in Libya, and that the Government of National Accord has the right to liberate oil facilities, allow the corporation to practice its work, and not use its facilities as a tool of war.

Al-Shirtaa said, in a televised statement on Wednesday, that the United States is trying to find a solution in Libya, taking into account the seriousness of the Russian presence in the region, noting that, had it not been for the Russian presence in Libya, the United States would not have acted in this way.
