The United States calls for a demilitarized solution in Sirte and Al Jufra, and the resumption of oil.

The adviser to the US National Security Council, “Robert O’Brien,” called on all Libyan responsible parties to implement a demilitarized solution in the cities of Sirte and Al-Jufra.

In his statement, O’Brien called on states to respect the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations and to finalize ceasefire arrangements within the framework of the United Nations’ 5 + 5 military negotiations.

The adviser to the US National Security Council urged all parties to allow the National Oil Corporation to resume its vital work with utmost transparency.

It is worth noting that the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives approved, last Thursday, the law to support stability in Libya, as amended.
