The Saudi authorities announced the completion of the exeptional pilgrimage season this year without recording infection with the Corona virus among the pilgrims, and the success of the social separation procedures among the pilgrims.
About 10,000 pilgrims performed the rites of pilgrimage this year, the choice was limited to those residing inside Saudi Arabia as a result of the spread of the Corona epidemic in the world, which forced the Saudi authorities to prevent people coming from outside the Kingdom from the pilgrimage this year.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Ministry of Health announced that the total number of Corona-virus infections in Saudi Arabia has reached 278,835, among them 2917 deaths, and 240081 recovery cases.
