Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Boqadoum has warned of some actions that might lead to the division of Libya, calling for preserving the country’s unity and adhering to a political solution.
Boqadoum , according to what was reported by the Algerian News Agency, on Friday, urged all influential actors and supporters of the parties in the current conflict in Libya to abandon escalatory policies, stressing that Algeria continues to work in this direction.
Boqadoum said that his country is carrying out diplomatic work that emanates from its conviction that establishing peace and stability in Libya is in everyone’s interest.
It is worth noting that the Foreign Minister Boqadoum stressed last Thursday the need to preserve the unity of Libya and reject the military solution, pointing out that Algeria is not seeking to compete with the political initiatives put forward to resolve the Libyan crisis.
