The House of Representatives denies the issuance of a statement calling for Egyptian military intervention in Libya.

The Libyan Parliament denied, on Tuesday, the issuance of any statement by the Council calling for Egyptian military intervention, pointing out that the statement issued in this regard is considered plagiarism of the Council that entails legal and historical responsibility before the people.

The Council stressed, in their statement, that the call for Egyptian intervention in Libya is unacceptable, and it is considered a violation of Libyan sovereignty, and its call amounts to great betrayl and violates the Security Council and international community resolutions.

The Council condemned the disregard for Libya’s sovereignty, which is used as a means to pressure the House of Representatives and the Government of National Accord, and a coup against legitimacy, stressing the refusal to seek the assistance of unknown people who are described as representatives of the Libyan tribes and reducing the will of the Libyan people in them.

It is worth noting that some deputies of Tobruk who support the aggression against Tripoli and the closure of ports and oil fields called on the Egyptian army to intervene to prevent the army from taking control of the city of Sirte and freeing the ports from the Wagner and Janjaweed mercenaries.
