Gnuno: Haftar leads gangs of criminals and we are awaiting an international investigation that reveals to the world genocide crimes against the people of Tarhuna.

The Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Mohamed Gnunu, said on Wednesday that they are awaiting an international investigation that reveals to the world the heinous crimes of genocide committed by the Haftar terrorist militias and the “Alkani” gangs against the people of Tarhuna.

Gnunu pointed out the stance of the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Fayez Alsarraj who announced that there is absolutely no place for Haftar in the future of Libya.

Gnunu explained that the position of the Libyan army forces is consistent in defense, striking the hotbeds of threat wherever they exist, and ending the outlaw groups that disregard the lives of Libyans throughout the country, adding that Haftar was not and will not be a peace partner, but rather leads gangs of bloodthirsty criminals.

It is worth noting that the city of Tarhuna was liberated by the Libyan army on June 5, and they found more than 8 mass graves there.

The mass graves between a British condemnation, American-Italian demands to investigate, and a French-Russian silence.

Chavushoglu: The purpose of our visit to Libya is clear and we support the Libyan efforts to hold the perpetrators of the massacres in Libya accountable.
