The Syrian Observatory confirmed the killing of the first mercenary from the mercenaries recruited by Russia to fight in Libya, along with the Haftar militias.
The observatory reported, on Sunday, that the number of arrivals to Libya sent by a Russian security company reached 450 mercenaries from a number of Syrian governorates, while another batch is located within the area of the Hmeimim military base controlled by Russia, in preparation for their transfer to Libya, to fight with the Haftar militias.
The Syrian Observatory had previously indicated that a Russian security company had recruited scores of Syrians to send to Libya to fight alongside the Haftar militias, and that the recruits would receive a monthly salary of $ 1,000.
