On Monday, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense Salah Addin Al-Nemroush said that the Libyan army would go to the axes south of Tripoli after securing the Alwittia base , in preparation for the next stage.
Al-Namroush confirmed, in a statement to Arraed, that the liberation of Alwittia is the beginning of the end of the tyranny project in the western region, and all parts of Libya, calling all cities of the western region to unite the ranks and reject the division to build the country.
Al-Namroush blessed the liberation of the Libyan army forces, Alwittia Air Force Base, describing the operation as another heroic epic underlined by these heroes.
It is worth noting that the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Fayiz Al-Sarraj, announced, on Monday, the liberation of the Alwittia air base from the grip of the Haftar militias, to join the liberated cities on the west coast.
