Minister of Interior Commissioner Fathi Bashaga said on Wednesday that there is a military balance on the outskirts of the capital Tripoli between the Libyan army forces and militias and Haftar’s mercenaries, but that the Wagner mercenaries entered forcefully and ferociously in support of the criminal Haftar, killing safe people and terrifying them.
In a press conference held in Tripoli, Bashaga stressed the necessity of the Ministry imposing its authority by building security and police personnel, which requires advanced training, in accordance with the security laws and regulations in force in all ministries of the interior in the world.
Bashaga added that the spread of chaos and weapons contributed to undermining the work of the Ministry of the Interior, which contributed to the spread of financial corruption inside it, adding that it is necessary to provide security for the citizens, and to preserve public and private property throughout the country, because security is indivisible, by focusing on Security directorates , and support police stations and rescue teams.
Bashaga touched on the development of the Ministry of Interior in terms of developing electronic systems, its information systems, issuing electronic passports, personal cards, and advanced metal plates, and the ministry launched the service of the “Mobily” Interior Program.
It is worth noting that the Interior Minister Bashaga said two days ago that targeting of Haftar militias and mercenaries for civilians in Tripoli will only add to our Persistence and determination to us to defeat them.
