A group affiliated with the so-called negative phenomena department, headed by Faraj Qaim, Sunday attacked the medical staff and fired bullets inside the care section of Al-jalaa Hospital in Benghazi, which led to sabotage and damage of all the devices in the department.
Hospital sources said that the group entered the intensive care department after being informed of the death of their companion, who was injured in a street fight and underwent surgery before his condition worsened.
Among the devices ruined were 7 respirators, 7 monitors, and all care devices and accessories, including an ultrasound device and a blood filter for kidney patients. The indiscriminate shooting caused terror and panic among the nursing crews, and doctors were assaulted and ordered to leave after threatening them with weapons.
It is worth noting that the attacks on workers, doctors and Guards in the Al-jalaa Accident Hospital in Benghazi were repeated several times, and caused the work to be disrupted many times.
