Libya is about to send 30 doctors to Italy to help tackle Corona.

On Monday, Italy’s Foreign Minister Di Mayo welcomed the medical initiative of the GNA to send 30 doctors to assist Italian medical teams in tackling the Corona pandemic.

De Mayo discussed in a telephone conversation with Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala the efforts made to combat the spread of the Corona virus, and the latest developments in this matter, especially in Italy.

For his part, Siala emphasized that the Libyan government and people stand with the Italian state until they overcome this ordeal, and Libya is confident in Italy’s ability to overcome this epidemic.

It is worth noting that Italy is one of the countries hardest hit by the global epidemic of Corona, and has recorded 135 thousand cases, and more than 13 thousand deaths so far.
