The head of the Administrative Control Authority, Suleiman Al-Shanti, said that the authority investigated 338 cases during the past year, which included negligence and shortcomings in preserving and embezzling public funds, forgery of official documents and abuse of functional authorities.

Al-Shanti added, in an interview with Arraed, that the authority monitors corruption and its indicators in accordance with its annual reports issued annually, and that the government was unable to prepare its work plans according to which priorities are set.
