On Wednesday, the Turkish embassy in Libya called for an immediate humanitarian cessation of all “hostilities” to enable the reconciliation government to respond to the Corona virus.
The embassy, in a statement on its official page, called for stopping the transfer of military equipment to Libya, stressing that its invitation is joint with the embassies of several countries, including Algeria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Britain, and the United States of America, among others.
It is worth noting that the embassies of America, Algeria, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Britain and the European Union mission called, on Tuesday, all parties to declare an immediate cessation of hostilities, and to stop the transfer of military equipment to Libya; to allow local authorities to respond to the public health challenge posed by the Corona virus.
