Member of Parliament Araied said that the representatives of the eastern region who participated in the first round of the Geneva Dialogue are against the war and want to end it, and they have said so clearly because they are well aware that the war will not solve the problem, and that it has caused great harm to Libya, its children and its money.
Araied added, in an interview with Arraed, that before the return of the Eastern Region delegation from Geneva, the sessions included everyone went cordially, welcoming and transparent, and “we all hoped to find a solution to the conflict in Libya,” noting that the reason for their withdrawal was a call from Ayoub Al-Ferjani Hifter’s right hand man who ordered them to return to the eastern region, and they clearly told us that they fear for their family if they refuse to do so.
It is worth noting that the first round of the political dialogue was held, on February 26 in Geneva, in the presence of 25 personalities from various cities of Libya with the failure of the Parliament and the Council of the State in Tripoli to send their representatives.
