Member of the Supreme Council of the State Abdul Rahman Ashater said on Wednesday that the European Union is deceiving as it aligns with the militias of Hifter and is not serious about what it says about supporting legitimacy.
In a statement to Arraed, Ashater added that the European Union seeks to cut the supply route to the GNA, to leave the door and airspace open from the eastern side of the country to ensure the flow of weapons to Hifter and the mercenaries that he lead.
Ashater stressed that the correct situation that is supposed to be followed is the issuance of a binding resolution by the Security Council with the implementation and monitoring mechanisms, and punishing those who violate,Other than that it is a cause for ridicule and laughter.
It is worth noting that the European Union announced last Tuesday a naval mission to monitor the arms embargo to Libya.
