Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday that Hifter’s spokesman’s statement that “the solution in Libya is by means of rifles” shows that Hifter has no interest in a truce or peace in Libya.
Erdogan added, in statements carried by the “Anatolia” agency, that he hoped that the participants in the Berlin conference had heard this statement and expressed their stance accordingly.
On Sunday, a spokesman for Hifter Ahmed Almismari said that the solution in Libya is not political, but rather by fighting and by rifles.
