Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov regretted on Wednesday that Hifter had not signed on the ceasefire agreement sponsored by Turkey and Russia.
“Lavrov” added in statements during the Riceina conference in the Indian capital, New Delhi, that Khalifa Hifter asked for a deadline for signing the ceasefire agreement.
Lavrov indicated that the Moscow talks are a preparation for the Berlin conference on Libya and Russia has never indicated that the talks that took place on Monday in Moscow will solve and end all problems.
It is reported that Moscow confirmed that Prime Minister of the GNA Fayiz Asarraj and head of the Supreme State Council Khalid Almishri signed a text of a draft ceasefire, while Hifter’s delegation requested a deadline.
