Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Mohammed Gnunu, confirmed on Sunday that the Libyan Air Force targeted the positions of Hifter mercenaries at Alwittia Air Force Base, during which military vehicles and an ammunition storehouse were destroyed.
Gnunu explained, in media statements, that the bombing of the base came in response to the massacre of the Military College in Tripoli, which was executed by a drone supporting the Hifter aggression.
A military source had confirmed to Arraed that the Libyan air force had targeted a convoy of Hifter militants who tried to pass from Muzdah area, in its way to the battlefield on the outskirts of Tripoli.
It is worth noting that, on Saturday, a Hifter supporting drone targeted the Military College in Tripoli, killing 30 students and wounding 33 others.
