
Italian Foreign Minister “Luigi de Mayo” said that the international parties have reached agreement on the wording of the final statement of the Berlin conference on the Libyan crisis that is scheduled to be held early next year.
De Mayo added, according to the Italian news agency “Aki”, he is optimistic about his findings in light of his meetings with the Libyan leaders last Tuesday.
In a related context, the head of Italian diplomacy stated that they expect to set the date of the conference immediately, and that the summit could be held at the beginning of next year.
It is reported that Foreign Minister Luigi “de Mayo” visited Libya last Tuesday, during which he met the Prime Minister of GNA, Fayez asarraj, Hifter in Benghazi, and Aqila Saleh in Tobruk.
