Turkish Defense Minister Khulusi Akar said on Sunday that the two memorandums of understanding signed with Libya,maritime and security “do not constitute a threat nor an attack on the rights of other countries.”
Akar made the remarks, during a speech in his visit to the headquarters of the Ground Forces Command Operations in Ankara, according to the Turkish Anatolia News Agency.
The Turkish Parliament approved the two memorandums of understanding signed with Libya, and the Presidential Council also ratified them on the same day, which were previously signed by Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan and President of the Presidential Council Fayez Asarraj In November 27.
