
Libyan Commander-in-Chief Fayez Asarraj confirmed that the Supreme Army Command would provide all support to all the forces and that we are incessant in developing their capabilities.
Asarraj expressed, in a statement, on Saturday, his pride and appreciation of the fighters in the ranks of the Libyan army who have continued to repel the brutal aggression against the capital since nine months ago.
Asarraj thanked the air defenses that managed to shoot down one of Hifter’s warplanes, which was bombing residential neighborhoods,public buildings and airports.
It is worth noting that the Libyan army forces made new progress, on Saturday, in some fighting axes south of Tripoli, and shot down a “Mig 23” warplane belonging to Hifter in the city of Zawiya, and captured its pilot.
